Thank you!
Hi Kelly, I met you at Domenica's shower this past weekend (I have the little girl Isabella). I really enjoyed talking with you and I wanted to say thank you for the info you shared. I also wanted to say that the pictures on your website are just beautiful and you are very talented. I hope that I can one day take pictures that look like that.

nice name
Just curious in your sight because we have the same exact name, Kelly Heaton. Your photos are beautiful, love the Amish pictures. I always thought they didn't like their pictures taken??? Sounds like we have something else in common, I am a believer too!

Hi Kelly! Nice name if a say so myself! kelly is actually my middle name. Some Old Order Amish don't like their pictures taken and still a few younger ones. Most of mine I take from behind or I ask them first. That's great that you are a believer! I hope to put more bible verses on when I get a chance. I love to tell others about my Lord Jesus Christ. I know I am nothing without Him! Thanks so much for your kind comments!

slide shows
Many of your photos are truly beautiful. Thank you for posting them on your website. However, on my Mac I cannot make the slide shows run. The Longwood collection came up as 13 small pictures, but the others show only one picture no matter what I click on. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that.

I have been following you on yotbuue and now this site for about 3 weeks. On June9, 2010, I made the HUGE decision to cut off my hair and go natural. This was after weeks of deliberating and having so many people in my life sound in on the decision. Most of the feedback was positive some was more negative. Regardless, I had no idea how I would feel after I did it. I have to say with 100% honesty, that I am VERY happy that I made the decision. I will say in addition however, that cutting off my relaxed hair after only growing it out for a little over a month was the most EMOTIONAL thing that I have ever done. Your blog encouraged me to see my TRUE NATURAL beauty and to not be wrapped up in sterotypical images nor self inflicted images of beauty. When I watched your big chop, I almost cried. I knew that it was my time and turn. I have only been natural for a week now, and I overall feel great. There are FOR SURE moments when I look in the mirror and don't feel as beautiful as before. Times when I feel like a boy and even wish that I just had more length. But I am SO encouraged by your journey and learning that I have got to start feeling comfortable in my own skin with or w/o relaxed hair. I am finally seeing my eyes, my cheek bones, the sparkle that is in my appearance. I'm finally learning that I have to walk with my head up. To be a proud black woman with proud black coils. Thank you for documenting your journey. You have no idea how much you have been a blessing to me and I truly thank God for your diligence. I pray that this never becomes a burden, but that instead out of your passion that you would feel encouraged to bless others with the information and knowledge that you share.God Bless JustKriss

To Mr Melinda MenziesFirst of all, thank you for support and your adivce as a co-writer.Unfortunatelly, in my country there is not a local writer organisation for romantic novels. There is lack of such a culture. Popular english language litterature is known only from H translated series. Someone can find them only in central newspaper qiosks or hiden in little neibourhood stores. I don't know any other person who write (in English) romantic novels in my city (or even in the whole country).(By the way what is 2c??) I have the same opinion with you: I believe in my story and I love my heroes a lovely couple and a very supporting family for them and I will revive them after a week for them sleeping in my hard disc.I don't have objection with a feedback of critic or even critisism to my work. On the contrary I want it in detail to understand fully the gaps and the missing of my story.I don't have the opportunity to have a personilised feedback and SYTYCW was a good opportunity. The only objection to that group message was the choice of words. This would be acceptable from a food or car industry, but not from an organisation that words (and reverie) are its product.I am a working girl for more than 10 years now and I can understand the difficult position of H editors in front of a pile of works that want an answer NOW (or YESTERDAY)! I have also to send massive emails for my work and I can be in their position, so no hard feelings! It was just a little complain Kisses to Australia and be careful with the hard weather! (I have adored your country by Emma Darcy's books and Sallivans!)Ioanna
